ご挨拶

長谷川家住宅は、2012年の8月で築造270年（寛保2年8月）を迎えました。この住宅は農家住宅でありいわゆる京町家ではありませんが、古い様式を残していますので、近隣の景観（昔の佇まい）の一環としても残したいと思い、京都市、京都府立大学、京都市景観まちづくりセンターのご指導を頂きながら、一年がかりで修復工事を行い、新たに「歴史・文化・交流の家」として再出発することと致しました。　平成24年6月

GREETING

HASEGAWA house was built in Aug. 1742, and it is 270 years anniversary. This architecture is rather farmers than Kyo-Machi- Ya (old building style in downtown Kyoto), but remains authentic old architecture. Restoration of the house took 1 year with help of Kyoto-City, Kyoto Prefectural University, and Kyoto town development center. We decided to re-start as “HASEGAWA Home of History, Culture, and Exchange” with making this house open public to keep old scenery and communication.    2012 June
